OK, Andy and Sarah, my $57 bike question was a cheap shot...I was just patting myself on the back since I have such a vehicle...albeit that I put another $150 in baskets and other crap on it. The truth is that if I were biking across the country, I'd get a $1000 bike, too.

Please forgive my crass query.
